Scilly with teenagers

Let everyone choose something. Mix an organised activity with time for beaches, photography and exploring, without making every day an early start.

Before you book

  1. Choose activities together, then check minimum ages, ability requirements, equipment and weather policies with the provider.
  2. Agree meeting points and return-boat times before exploring. Do not assume every island has the same transport or facilities.
  3. Check accommodation Wi-Fi and other practical needs directly if they matter to your family.

A day to make your own

Make one day an activity day: perhaps a guided paddling or sailing session if suitable and available. Keep another day for an island walk and a relaxed meal.

Keep an alternative ready

Have an alternative chosen together: a short heritage visit, a café break or an afternoon back at your accommodation.
